2022 Stories From the Field: Celebrating our Local Food System in Words

Sixty-six audience members joined us for the "2022 Stories from the Field: Celebrating our Local Food System in Words" online on a chilly December 1st, 2022. This free, magical storytelling event celebrated the unique connections and adventures (and misadventures) that come from growing, selling, eating, educating about locally produced food.

Six, incredible storytellers, live music provided by Doug Farrell, and emceed by Kate McNally of NHPR’s “The Folk Show”, ensured a night full of fun, laughter, and maybe a tear or two. We hope to see you at next year’s event!

On a magical winter night in 2020, close to 85 audience members virtually enjoyed an evening of music and storytelling with folks who grow, educate about, lovingly prepare, advocate for, and eat (!) locally grown food.

Under a year of pandemic-related isolation brought forth for many a silver lining: an opportunity to reconnect with our land, with businesses in our local communities, and with locally grown foods. Watch full event now.

Just in time for spring planting and garden planning, the virtual storytelling “feast” came to the airwaves via a one-hour live broadcast called, Stories from the Field: A Special Broadcast from the Monadnock Farm & Community Coalition and NHPR.” Listen now.
