2025 Monadnock Grown Farm Tour

GET OUT INTO THE COUNTRY to experience the day-to-day lives of Monadnock farmers working to get food to our tables!

The Monadnock Grown Farm Tour is one way we can celebrate the impact of farming operations on our local economy, the role they play in preserving open space, and how they contribute to our quality of life.

Monadnock Grown Farm Tour: $10 per car gets you into all farms! All proceeds go towards the costs of the 2026 MONADNOCK GROWN Farm Tour! *Products for sale at farms are not included in ticket price.

Alyson’s Orchard, Walpole: Alyson’s Orchard is a unique, 350 acre working orchard and year-round wedding and event facility in the heart of historic New England. Known for sustainable Eco-Apple practices and integrated pest management.
Chosen as one of the 12 Top Orchards in the U.S. by Travel and Leisure, Alyson’s has also been featured in Yankee Magazine, New Hampshire Bride Magazine, and Well Wed in Maine and New Hampshire.

Bending Branch Farm, Marlborough: Small-batch artisanal dairy using Alpine goats grazing on pesticide-free scrub. Produces
raw milk, yogurt, chevre (in multiple flavors), and cow’s milk cheese. Made with milk sourced from local organic dairies.

Crescendo Acres, Surry: An Alpaca fiber farm nestled in the hills of Surry. Large offering of alpaca clothing - sweaters, socks, toys, and more - available to purchase in their farm shoppe. Christmas tree farm, sharpening blades for animals and home.
Farm Tour Activities: Pet a miniature cow and horse, Morgan horse, alpacas and wicked friendly cats. Sugar house set up for demonstrations and samples ( syrup, nuts,cream , cotton candy). Christmas wreath making demonstration

Echo Farm, Hinsdale: A 4-H project went crazy and turned into a dairy farm and pudding plant! Learn how their cows use a robotic milking machine without any interference from humans. Pudding samples and cases of pudding for sale, calves to pet.
Farm Tour Activities: Furry Friends 4-H club share their experience with horse and rabbit husbandry. Water for sale.

Gemmo Forest, Keene: The Gemmo Forest is a 12.5-acre permaculture laboratory featuring medicinal plants, scavenger hunts, children’s art, and guided tours through the farm.

Goodwin Family Farm, Surry: The farm is a biodiverse, small family farm that strives to produce nutritionally dense food, luxury angora fibers, and vigorous garden plants in partnership with the land, animals, and people that live there. Meet all of the animals - giant Angora rabbits, Nigerian dwarf goats, mini ponies, chickens and ducks.
Farm Tour Activities: Tour the new barn, farm store and visit the site of a new permaculture orchard and pollinator garden. Make and take crafts, scavenger hunt.

Mill Hollow Works, The Craft School, Keene: Craft school teaching artisan skills in a hands-on setting. Greenhouse tours, seed starting, and plants.

Monadnock Berries, Troy: PYO berries at this 11,000 bush farm with stunning view of Mt. Monadnock. CLOSES AT 3:30PM.

Cost, Tips, & Rules:

COST:
$10/car will get you into all the farms! All money go towards producing the 2026 MONADNOCK GROWN Farm Tour.

TIPS:
Bring cash, credit cards, and a cooler! Farms will be selling a host of products, snacks, clothing, and more! Some are cash only, others take Venmo and debit cards. The cooler is to keep your food purchases fresh.

  • Plan on visiting two or three farms

  • After petting animals, please take time to use hand sanitizer provided at each farm

  • Wear shoes - no open-toed sandals. You have no idea what you might step in! AND farms may ask you to disinfect your shoes to prevent farm-to-farm transmission of germs

  • Bring sunscreen, hats, bug spray, and water

RULES:

No pets allowed, no visiting farms after or before Tour hours, no entering farm homes.

The 2025 MONADNOCK GROWN Farm Tour is produced by the Cheshire County Farm Bureau, Cheshire County 4-H, Cheshire County Conservation District, Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition, and the Monadnock Food Co-op
