GET OUT INTO THE COUNTRY to experience the day-to-day lives of Monadnock farmers working to get food to our tables! David Kennard of Wellscroft Farm will demonstrate Border Collie sheep-herding, the Farmer family of Pitcher Mountain Farm will be making buffalo burgers - come see their herd, Blackfire Farm is offering wood-fired pizza and a pasture tour - come say “hi” to their Highland cattle. Also offered: free tractor & hay rides, egg collecting, lamb pelts, robotic milking tours, pudding samples, apple cider donuts & more!
The Monadnock Farm Tour is one way we can celebrate the impact of farming operations on our local economy, the role they play in preserving open space, and how they contribute to our quality of life.
Monadnock Farm Tour: $10 per car gets you into all farms! All proceeds go towards the costs of the 2025 Monadnock Farm Tour! *Products for sale at farms are not included in ticket price.
AFTER PARTY! at Granite Roots Brewing, Troy, NH: 5pm - 8pm
Fresh brews, food trucks (featuring locally-sourced pizza), and live music! 5pm - 8pm. No entry fee. Children & leashed dogs welcome!

2nd prize: 1/4 CSA share from Dog Days Farm! (valued at $250)

Alyson’s Orchard, Walpole (PYO fruit, tractor rides, petting zoo, gifts & farm stand )
Blackfire Farm, Greenfield (Highland cows, wood-fired pizza from 12pm -2pm, educational garden and pasture tour, chickens, pigs, farm products) NO PUBLIC BATHROOM
Echo Farm Puddings, Winchester (Robotic milking & pudding plant tour, free pudding samples, play area. NE Dairy's "Mobile Dairy Experience" van is equipped with games & fun, trivia wheel and arcade style trivia game)
Pitcher Mountain Farm, Stoddard (Visit buffalo, Highland cows, goats, and chickens. Hike to pick blueberries. Buffalo burgers & hot dogs, 10% off coupon farm store)
The Farm at Wolf Pine Hollow, Hancock (Free hay wagon rides, sampling of yummy treats, visit with goats, sheep and chickens, hike pond-loop trail. Lunch available for purchase at Tasting House, farm store )
Wellscroft Farm, Harrisville (Border Collie sheep-herding demonstrations, lamb, sheep pelts)
Cost, Tips, & Rules:
COST:
$10/car will get you into all the farms! Purchase tickets online (print & bring with you) or wrist bands will be sold at each farm the day of Tour. All money go towards producing the 2025 Monadnock Farm Tour.
TIPS:
- Bring cash, credit cards, and a cooler! Farms will be selling a host of products, snacks, clothing, and more! Some are cash only, others take venmo and debit cards. The cooler is to keep your food purchases fresh.
- Plan on visiting two or three farms
- After petting animals, please take time to use hand sanitizer provided at each farm
- Wear shoes - no open-toed sandals. You have no idea what you might step in! AND farms may ask you to disinfect your shoes to prevent farm-to-farm transmission of germs.
- Bring sunscreen, hats, bug spray, and water
RULES:
No pets allowed, no visiting farms after or before Tour hours, no entering farm homes.
